Loki had woken a few times just enough to assess where he was, and then gone back to sleep. Dozing, as Dani stirred awake, enjoying the tangle and affection and not eager to leave it all. He chuckled though, with Dani's actions, murmuring teasingly against her hair. "Keep that up, and I'll think you like me or something."

"S'comfortable," she mumbles from somewhere against Loki's chest, voice clogged with sleep. She sighs and burrows closer, if that's possible, and wraps an arm tightly around his waist. It's the best sleep she's had in years, honestly.

"You sleep okay?"

"I tend to sleep well when I have company, usually because of pleasant exhaustion." It was and was not an answer. Still, Loki wasn't protesting her burrowing closer against him at all. He chuckled a bit with the action, mouth still against her hair.

Dani feels herself blush at the realization of what his comment means and she bites her lip. Unsure quite how to answer. It's been -- a very long while since she's been worn out for that reason. She wouldn't mind... no, she shouldn't let her thoughts wander in that direction.

"Best sleep I've had in ages."

"Good. Hopefully it'll stay that way until you have the excuse of good night time exertions." He was definitely teasing her. Truthfully Loki wouldn't have minded the direction her thoughts were going--he was private, but certainly not a prude nor opposed to casual relationships.

He had also already made clear to Dani that he expected nothing like that as any kind of reward. Should they pursue it, let it be because they wanted to. Not out of obligation or guilt or anything.

The back of her neck feels hot, and she strokes her fingers over Loki's arm. Then up to touch his cheek. Nuzzling under his chin. "Why. Do you plan on setting me up with someone?" Her tone is clearly teasing. Light, amused. Playful.

Oh, so they were playing that game were they? Did Dani really know what she was getting into? For that matter, Loki had a moment of pause to think if he really wanted to play this game with her... He had made it clear that he expected nothing in return. But if she actually wanted something?

"Not at the moment, though if someone catches your eye and you'd prefer I play wingman so to speak, I can. I could also be decoy boyfriend to make someone jealous." Ever a trickster.

That light touch had been very nice through the linen of his shirt. Tilting his head slightly against her touch, with his mouth still against her hair.

"Just a decoy?" She feels bold enough to say something like that. Loki makes her feel bold like that. It's a nice feeling, really, this boldness. This flirtatiousness.

Her fingers stroke his jaw, down over his throat. Her breath catching slightly.

"...do you want something other than a decoy?" Oh that was very nice yes. Leaning into her touch more. A soft noise in his throat and chest, enjoying that clearly.

"With you?" She lifts her head a little to press a kiss to his chin. Not out of any sense of obligation or guilt or anything like that, no. But because she wants to. Because it feels good.

"Definitely more than just a decoy, yes."

Oh Loki almost melted at that little kiss. He'd already been leaning into her touches, savoring the affection. It was so very very tempting to just throw caution out and follow his impulses and her lead.

But he also cared about her--she was perhaps his first true friend who was all his. "Don't do this because you think you have to, Dani." It was almost pleading, and was definitely a warning.

"I'm not." She pulls back to look at him, properly. To show that she's serious. That she means this. "I promise, it's not because I think I have to. It's because I want to, and no other reason.

Will you trust me?"

Blue-green eyes searched her, full of secrets of their own. Head tilted to look at her in turn and one hand coming up to stroke her cheek. "If I didn't, I wouldn't be here with you now." His other arm moved more firmly around her waist, keeping her close.

She gasps softly at the grip on her waist, the way it presses their bodies flush together. She leans into his touch with a slight shiver of her own, lashes fluttering against her cheeks.

"I want this. I want this with you. I have for a while, now."

Those eyes still held secrets; his touch stayed gentle, but he held her chin and jaw firmly. Certain she was looking at him. "...Even though I'm not Einar?" It was an important question to Loki. Einar was part of him, true--but he was not wholly Einar.

"I don't care what name you go by. That's all it was, just another name. You're still close to me, you still care about me. That's what matters, that's what I care about."

Those blue-green eyes studied her, before Loki smiled. Slow, and soft and genuine. "I do. Which is why I wanted to be certain this is what you want." Murmured, before the hold on her chin and jaw was gone. Long fingers moving instead to tangle in her hair and keep her close as he leaned in to kiss her. Soft and playful, inviting her to join him.

Dani laughs happily into the kiss, wrapping her arms around Loki's neck and pressing close. She parts her lips for him, letting him lead the kiss. Wanting him to be the one in control of this. Wanting to give herself up to him.

Oh that was quite lovely, and Loki smiled in turn. Soft and playful kisses, gentle nips as they shared breath--sharing the kiss and joy for what it was. Shifting them only slightly so it was less side by side, with her more prone under him.

Moving along her jaw, her chin, up to her ear. "Give me boundaries Dani, or we won't be leaving here for some time." Voice low and silken.

Dani shivers underneath him and runs her hands over his back, down to rest on his hips for the time being while she tries to think.

"Right, yeah, yes. That's -- yes." That's a good idea. She should set boundaries. "I want -- we should wait to have sex. Get more used to this. To us. But I want you to touch me. I want your hands on me."

Don't think he didn't notice that shiver, as he leaned into her touch in turn. Still at her ear, Loki nuzzled her and laughed softly. "Besides, if I have no boundaries, how am I to test them?" Mischief in his tone.

Still, she'd set her boundaries and given him a request. So Loki moved to support himself more on his knees and one arm where it wrapped around her waist. Freeing up one hand, that moved to stroke her face and neck. Long fingers savoring, and caressing. Trailing a path along her torso but not touching anywhere intimate yet; tracing the seams of her dress and her curves lightly to entice her.

It's good. It's so lovely to be touched like this. To be appreciated like this. Loki's a tease, that much is clear. But honestly? She doesn't think she'd mind that. She'd rather be teased than something quick and easy and, well. Boring.

So she arches into the touches, curling her fingers to grip Loki's shirt with a soft, needy noise.

Appreciate he does, with soft murmurs of his own of encouragement and praise. Learning the feel and shape of her through touch with deft fingers, before they moved lower. Against her hip, down her leg as far as he could reach, still through cloth. Moving now to nuzzle her neck, rain kisses along the skin there. "How long has it been, dearling? Your ex hardly seemed like the giving type." Not that Loki was necessarily giving unless the mood took him or it suited him to be so.

"A long time. Too long." But his fingers, his touches feel good. So thorough, the way he explores her, and she arches into them. Her own hands exploring the shape of his back, around to touch his chest. Sucking in a surprised breath at the feeling of firm muscles underneath his shirt.

"We'll fix that." It was a promise, mouth against the hollow of her throat. Arching into her touches himself as he let her learn him as well. Some more nuzzling, soft kisses and kitten-like licks, before his hand found her waist.

Loki moved back to her mouth, kissing her firmly, and shifting them both up. He on his knees above her, her to a sitting position. One arm around her waist still, while the other started to move to pull her dress up and off.
